A foundational study led by Kavli NDI fellow Yu Kang Xu, PIs Dwight Bergles, Jeremias Sulam, integrates brain clearing, light sheet microscopy and AI assisted analysis to map the precise location of myelin producing cells, oligodendrocytes across the brain and lifespan. The brain-wide atlases highlighted age and region-specific variation in patterning.
